Vegan, Gluten-Free, Refined Sugar Free Brownies

Before you click next, let me assure you that these sugar free brownies are not hopeless. And don’t let the fact that they are vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar free brownies throw you off either. If you’re like me and have a specific diet yet you like to eat, you’ve spent enough time in the kitchen to know what works together with baking and what doesn’t. And these vegan brownies work well for those who don’t have dietary restrictions but want a yummy treat.

So without further ado, let’s get these brownies baked!

Ingredients:

1 cup gluten free flour (Bloomsfield Farms All Purpose Baking Mix)

1/2 cup baking cocoa (any kind as long as it pure baking cocoa only)

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup rice milk

3/4 cup honey

1/4 cup oil (melted coconut or canola)

1 “egg” (your choice of substitute, I use “flax egg”)

Instructions:

1: Mix the flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder together until mixed well. Put aside.

2: Create the egg and set aside

3: Pour the milk into the flour mix and mix well with hand mixer

4: Pour the oil, honey and egg into the flour mix and mix well with hand mixer

5: If your mix is still a little gritty or not sweet enough, stir small amounts of honey and rice milk into it until it is smooth and has the consistency of a thick liquid. You can also put more oil in, in small amounts.

6: Pour into your choice of baking pan (with a small amount of oil on the bottom) and cook for 30-40 minutes on 25 degrees lower than you usually bake your baked goods (I  cook at 325 degrees to avoid burning and undercooking)
