Don’t Faint Devotional: LIVE YOUR LIFE!
I was going to wait until I actually had pictures of Rome to share this post, but posting what I have right now goes right along with my message for today’s Don’t Faint Devotional.
Don’t wait until Mr. Right shows up to live your life. I’ll say it again a different way. Even if God revealed to you that He does have someone for you, you still need to live your life. And don’t stop living it once you meet him and get married. Live your life now because I promise you, things will CHANGE once you say I do. I can’t say that from experience, but I have heard this from quite a few different people who have said “I do” who LIVED THEIR LIFE prior to getting married. So the picture below is from my layover in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on the way to Rome, Italy.
I AM IN ITALY! And ROME at that! It made me think, “What if I had put my life on hold and not traveled everywhere I wanted to?” I wouldn’t be the same. I would have denied the path God was trying to use at this time in my life to get me to accept His calling on my life. And I’m learning that God WILL give you what you’re asking for sometimes when you’re not ready…but beware because He’ll also have to be the one to help you put the broken pieces back together once everything falls apart. I’m glad I did do what was in my heart. It saved my soul and my life.
And all the places I didn’t get to go, well…God willing I’ll visit them with Mr. Right!
