Allergy Friendly Barbeque Chicken Wings: No Wheat, No Refined Sugar, No Soy

If you love barbeque but have food allergies or health issues that cause you to have to forego your favorite store-bought sauce, these allergy friendly barbeque chicken wings are going to make barbeque redebut!

Here’s the recipe

Ingredients:

1 – 2 pounds chicken wings

2 tablepoons wheat free flour (I use Bloomfield Farms)

1/2 cup of honey

1/4 cup rice vinegar

1/8 cup water

1 tablespoon Siriracha sauce

2 tablespoons canola oil

2 tablespoons chilli powder

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1/2 tablespoon ginger powder

1/2 tablespoon garlic powder

Instructions:

1: Rinse, clean and skin chicken wings. Season with half the salt. Put 1 tablespoon of the flour on the chicken and mix so that the flour is spread over all the chicken. Fry the chicken on low to medium heat in the oil, in a pan until light brown and no bleeding. Keep in pan, pour off excess oil and juices and put aside.

2: In a sauce pan on low heat, mix together Sriracha sauce, oil, vinegar and water. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.

3: Add honey. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

4: Add all seasonings and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

5: Put the chicken into your baking pan of choice. Pour the sauce onto the chicken and toss until completely coated. Cover. Cook at 350 or 325 for 20 – 30 minutes depending on your oven’s cooking pace.
